Litho Tape Red Opaque 3M 616 1/2" Litho tape for film splicing, lithographers, printers, screen printers, publishing, and photography supplies. 1/2 inch x 72 yd on a 3 in core. 3M 616 is optically transparent and photographically opaque. Red litho tape is for many lithographic stripping applications in the graphic arts, printed circuit board - PCB , printing and publishing industry. Adhesive is perfect for pre press opaquing , stripping and edging on film materials . Semi-transparency offers good visibility for accurate positioning . Blocks out light during exposure. Eliminates ghosting and repositions easily. Adhesive material is rubber resin and the backing is unplasticized polyvinylchloride. Resists affects of changing atmospheric conditions to allow repeated and extended “burn” times. Low caliper backing to minimize ghosting and provide sharper definition. Pin-hole free backing to provide continuous opacity to light source to help minimize retouching.
